Lilly Ledbetter, equal pay advocate, dies at 86

Lilly Ledbetter, a woman whose long fight for equal pay culminated in a groundbreaking law that bears her name, has died at 86. Ledbetter’s equal pay revolution started in 1979 when she received an anonymous note at work which informed her that for years her male colleague had been paid much more than she had for the same work. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
