This file was initially tagged by Ethanpet113 as duplicate (duplicate) and the most recent rationale was: File:Transistor Count and Moore's Law - 2011.svg|reason=This is a bitmap capture of the original wikipedia work copied (and sourced) by another website, it seems to have added some data points possibly from the article body, instead File:Transistor Count and Moore's Law - 2011.svg should used as is, be modified to include new points or deprecated in favour of a new vector graphics conversion of this image. Procedurally converting to DR because it's raster vs vector, which has a history of being not non-controversial, and is substantively different content, so it's not a dup. DMacks (talk) 21:29, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
Keep Now switching to my editor's hat, the additional content in this PNG is valuable (there are outliers not present in the SVG and additional annotation detail of various data points). And it runs to 5 years later, nearly to the present day, which is important because there are periodic encyclopediac discussions about whether the Law is about to run into a limit vs another new breakthrough. I would consider changing my position iff the SVG were upgraded with added detail, akin to what Ethanpet113 proposes. DMacks (talk) 21:31, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
Speedy keep – a substantially different design from File:Transistor Count and Moore's Law - 2011.svg, invalid reason. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 21:40, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
Kept: no valid reason for deletion. --1989 (talk) 21:51, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

Comment, image is currently COM:INUSE in multiple wikis. Tvpuppy (talk) 01:23, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
- Yes but if it redirects to the newer chart which is the same plus additional data, then the uses would be preserved. This is similar to speedy F8. Prototyperspective (talk) 11:23, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
Kept: You have to replace the usage first, per COM:INUSE. --The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 01:59, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
